Hatcha have been instrumental in overhauling our website, enabling us to grow the business, improve sales and retention and also make the website generally more functional and less of a headache. They have both worked with our ideas, and suggested their own, regularly surpassing our expectations with the end result. Highly recommend especially to education businesses.

    1 to 2 weeks

  2. Step 2

    Design

We map the user flows and design the interface, and you sign off on a clickable prototype before production code starts.

    1 to 4 weeks

  3. Step 3

    Build

We build in short cycles and give you a live preview link from the first week, so you can follow progress.

    3 to 12 weeks

  4. Step 4

    Launch and support

We handle the launch, monitoring and handover, then stay on to host, support and improve what we built if you want us to.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind? Email hello@hatcha.com.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope. Most clients work with us on a monthly retainer sized to how much they need each month. One-off websites and software projects get a fixed, written quote after a free scoping call, so you know the price before any work begins.

Where are you based, and do you work across the UK?

We're a UK company and work with businesses across the country, including plenty in London. Most collaboration happens over video calls, shared documents and a live preview link, and we're happy to meet in person in London.

Who owns the code when the project is finished?

You do, once the project is paid for. The code, designs and intellectual property transfer to you, and everything is set up in accounts you control from the start.

How long does a typical project take?

Most websites launch in 4 to 8 weeks. Custom software usually ships a first release in 8 to 16 weeks, and SaaS MVPs in 10 to 16, depending on scope.

Do you work with enterprise companies?

Yes. We can work inside your cloud accounts, repositories and tools, and follow your security, code review and release processes. We'll go through your vendor security review and sign your NDA and master services agreement.

Can you work with our existing team or codebase?

Yes. We regularly work alongside in-house developers and take over existing products. We start with a short code review so we can tell you what shape it's in.

What happens after launch?

Most clients keep us on a monthly retainer for hosting, support and ongoing improvements. It's month to month, and if you'd rather take everything in-house, you get full documentation and a handover.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what you need and we'll reply within one working day. Once it's sent, you can book a free 30-minute call with Louie, our founder, and we'll follow up with a written quote.
